In an emergency, dial 511 from any campus phone, pick up any “Blue Light” phone across campus, or call 215-573-3333 from any non-campus phone. General Public Safety information: 215-898-7297.
Each registered student is limited to one guest (two total visitors per party). Limiting registered students to one guest will allow for more admitted students to attend Quaker Days. Guests are required to be listed on the student's registration form.
Light refreshments and lunch, including vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, Kosher, and Halal options, will be available. If you have very specific dietary needs, please indicate that on the registration form, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Yes, there will be other opportunities for admitted students and families to visit campus. In mid to late March, we will share more information via email and your Penn Portal on our Admitted Student Visit Days offered throughout April. Stay tuned for more information on those dates and how to register.
Student residence halls and dining halls are closed to guests. Penn does offer a virtual campus tour and a self-guided virtual tour that will allow you to see residence halls and dining facilities on campus. Please see the links below for more information.
Students can drop into the Student Service Center in the Franklin Building lobby (3451 Walnut Street). No appointments are required. They can also reach SFS via email at sfsmail@pobox.upenn.edu or via phone at 215-898-1988.
A lactation space is available in room 107 in Houston Hall on the first floor. Please ask a Penn staff member to give you card access to enter the room if needed.
There is a Muslim prayer space in ARCH room 311, which will be available from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM throughout Quaker Days. The ARCH building will be accessible without a staff or student badge during this time.
Yes, a shuttle service will be provided from the 30th Street Train station to Houston Hall from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM. From 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM the shuttle will stop in front of Houston Hall for those with luggage, the Palestra (at the Last Hurrah), and then on to 30th Street Station.
There are several public parking garages that you can use during your visit. More information can be found on Penn's Transportation and Park page.
Several components of the day are planned to be outdoors. In case of inclement weather, we will move those components indoors and update this website with new event locations.
