What goes into an admissions decision at a highly selective college or university? This engaging workshop gives you an inside look into the admissions committee room, exploring the many factors that guide an admissions office as it admits a class. 

Students and parents will learn all about:

• Admissions & Financial Aid Lingo (Early Decision vs. Early Action vs. Regular Decision)
• What is a highly selective school and why should I consider applying?
• How to approach the process
• Financial aid case studies - the differences among grants, loans and scholarships
• Committee discussion at Penn and other selective colleges
• Tips for the road
