What goes into an admissions decision at a highly selective college or university in the U.S.? This engaging workshop with an Ivy League admissions officer gives you an inside look into the admissions committee room, exploring the many factors that guide an admissions office as it admits a class. 

Students and parents will learn about the following:

  • Admissions & Financial Aid Lingo (Early Decision vs. Early Action vs. Regular Decision)
  • What is a highly selective school and why should I consider applying?
  • How to approach the process
  • Financial aid case studies - the differences among grants, loans and scholarships
